Electrical Trades Union (ETU)

The ETU is a union of more than 61,000 electricians, apprentices and electrical workers around Australia.

Established in 1919, the ETU has campaigned to raise wages, improve conditions, secure safety and improve life for all Australians.

As a member organisation of Energy Skills Australia since our inception, Energy Skills Australia has supported the ETUs Apprentice of the year awards over many years. The ETU was an industry partner in the Energy Industry Apprenticeship Progression Management System (EIAPMS) pilot program, participation on various national project steering committees and a member of our Skilled Migration Committee.
